Package Labeling Services
Packaging and Labeling Services is the assistance to SMEs in the development of package design; technical consultancy for the improvement of packaging system thru proper labeling and packaging; nutrition facts analysis, Sheaf life testing and training.
How does one avail of packaging and labeling assistance?
Customers may submit request (in writing) addressed to the Regional Director, thru the nearest Provincial S&T Centers (PSTCs). The Provincial Science and Technology Officer conduct an initial evaluation of the packaging and labeling assistance. Requests that merit assistance will be endorsed to the Regional Office.
Laboratory Testing and Analysis
Conduct physical, microbiological and chemical testing for food products including nutritional analysis. Our partner laboratories can also provide shelf-life testing as well as specialized tests for packaging products and materials.
training
Conduct various seminars and trainings on packaging technology where we provide guidance and assistance in solving technical problems related to packaging. These may also include hazard and food safety issues.
Technical consultancy
Offers consultation services on general product -package compatibility, packaging material suppliers, service providers (toll packers and printers) and label design.
